Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that shift gears at the last second. We headed out to the House of Blues Anaheim, expecting a big hall, but the show was moved into the more intimate “The Parish” room. Honestly? It was a total win. The smaller space turned the energy up to 11, making us feel like we were part of the inner circle for the night.

Bruce Johnston (The Beach Boys).
Dean Torrance (Jan and Dean).
I managed to catch a video of them performing “I Love This Life” with Bruce and Dean. You can really see the chemistry on stage; it wasn’t just a performance, it was a celebration. It’s moments like these—where the setlist takes a turn into music royalty—that make our spontaneous concert trips so special.
