HI, I AM DAVID SKELTON
We are a family of two men and three furry companions who reside in San Bernardino, California. Gio, my husband, and I share an insatiable thirst for adventure, a love for indulging in delectable cuisine, and a passion for the excitement of live concerts. We are always seeking new experiences, whether discovering hidden gems in our neighborhood or venturing out to new horizons.
Since we tied the knot in December 2015, we have been fortunate to explore various destinations, including San Francisco, South Florida, Las Vegas, Hawaii, South Lake Tahoe, and the Four Corners States. We even took a breathtaking view of the Grand Canyon from a helicopter.
We are passionate about breaking away from our daily routine and embarking on spontaneous getaways, whether for a day or a weekend. Our love for adventure leads us to various destinations, such as jet skiing on the Colorado River or the harbor of San Diego and exploring the scenic beauty of Catalina Island. Although we have no interest in gambling, Las Vegas holds a special place in our hearts. It has become one of our go-to destinations, and we’ve made six escapes to sin city so far. Every time we visit, we discover something new and exciting, like seeing the Hoover Dam from the air and ground and jet skiing in from behind on Lake Mead.
My passion for photography knows no bounds, and I capture every moment of our adventures. These cherished moments often lead to reminiscing about good times with phrases like “remember when.” In August 2021, I created a website to share our life’s journey through my camera lens, and in April 2023, I added my first blog post to connect with fellow photography enthusiasts and exchange ideas. As an enthusiast photographer, I cherish photography as an art form and pastime, rather than a profession, capturing special moments with a camera purely for my personal delight and artistic expression. This permits me to explore my love for photography, free from the stress and requirements of a professional pathway. Photography, for me, is the epitome of memory preservation. I'm deeply passionate about freezing cherished moments in time, and there's no better tool for this than a camera. While I appreciate the act of journaling, the power of photography to teleport you to a past moment is unrivaled. Such is my passion for photography, I've garnered the moniker of a "picture freak". Whether it's seizing moments of my loved ones, capturing the majesty of nature, or just mundane objects, the process of turning memories into enduring photographs brings me profound joy and contentment.

The initial act of photographing is only the beginning; the true enchantment unfolds during the post-production phase. In this stage, images undergo refinement, enhancement, and transformation, giving even the most commonplace photo the potential to become a striking masterpiece. Utilizing tools like Adobe Photoshop, photographs can be altered to evoke a certain atmosphere, emphasize particular elements, and craft a remarkable visual journey. The importance of post-production in photography can't be understated, as it gives photographers the power to manifest their creative intentions fully and generate images that genuinely make an impression.
Graphic Design
Understanding and utilizing graphic design, along with software like Adobe Illustrator, is crucial for effective web design. These tools allow designers to create a visually appealing, engaging, and user-friendly interface, all of which are key to keeping users interested and facilitating smooth navigation. Adobe Illustrator, in particular, is invaluable for creating vector-based designs that scale flawlessly, maintaining their crispness and clarity regardless of screen size or resolution. Each day, we find ourselves increasingly grateful for the steadfast companionship and boundless love that Dante, our four-legged family member, brings into our lives.
BELLA
Bella, our 9-year-old Lab mix, is more than just a pet; she's a treasured family member, gracing us with her affectionate and delightful personality. Her loving nature illuminates any room she enters, making her presence an essential part of our daily lives. But Bella is more than just a bundle of love; Bella is an intelligent dog with a penchant for interactive games, particularly the pursuit of tennis balls. While she exudes friendliness, Bella exercises caution around unfamiliar faces, maintaining her distance from strangers. One of her charming idiosyncrasies is her tendency to howl at passing ambulances, a quirky habit that invariably brings smiles to our faces. Through her joyful spirit and steadfast companionship, Bella adds a layer of richness to our lives that we couldn't imagine being without.
MOLLY
At age 4, Molly, our Chihuahua mix, not only holds the distinction of being the youngest member of our family but also serves as the embodiment of what a loving pet should be. Her affectionate and sweet nature instantly endears her to everyone she meets, perfectly capturing the essence of a Chihuahua mix personality. Molly has a variety of favorite activities, but she particularly enjoys basking in the sunlight on our back patio, a serene space where she feels most at ease. When she's indoors, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up on our laps, fully embracing her role as the family's 'spoiled one.' Her playful antics and charming personality are not just delightful but also bring a sense of joy and happiness to our household.
